Labor Day’s 1st Annual Splash Bash

Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer, is on Monday and if you are not planning to head to the beach you can head to downtown Raleigh for the 1st annual Splash Bash. Splash Bash will be held on Saturday (September 1st) in front of Isaac Hunter’s Oak City Tavern on Fayetteville Street, and will feature a full day of family-friendly activities! There will be a dunk tank, water slide, bounce house, face painting, live music, street vendors, food, raffles, and more. The proceeds of the Splash Bash will go to a local family dealing with mounting medical bills due to the father’s debilitating illness that has left him unable to work.  The fun will start at noon and will run into the evening hours. The event is being organized by the Isaac Hunter Foundation and supported by many of the local downtown businesses.
