The holiday season in Hillsborough will kick off this Friday, November 30th; the start of a weekend filled with holiday cheer! Friday night will play host to multiple activities: enjoy the monthly “Last Fridays Art Walk” through Hillsborough’s gallery spaces; do some holiday shopping during Ladies’ Night: Be Social, Shop Local; and not to be missed is the annual lighting of the town tree on the lawn of the Old Orange County Courthouse! On Saturday, December 1st, celebrate the season at the Hillsborough Holiday Parade, hosted by the Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce! Floats, marching bands, and maybe even a special guest from the North Pole will wind their way from Corbin Street to East Margaret Lane. The fun doesn’t end there, on Sunday you can enjoy the 34th Annual Daniel Boone Craft Fair, horse-drawn carriage rides, and the stunning 26th Annual Hillsborough Candlelight Home Tour.
