This Sunday will mark the 15th Annual Carrboro Music Festival, to be held at a variety of venues throughout the downtown Carrboro area. This free music festival features an eclectic mix of performers and musical styles, with many of the artists hailing from the Triangle. Carrboro is a small, bustling community adjacent to Chapel Hill, with a big heart for music and the arts. The Carrboro Music Festival will pack well over 100 acts into the day long festival starting at 1pm and carrying on into the evening hours. Crafts and food vendors and local non-profits will also be present. This week leading up to the Festival the town will also be hosting “Music On The Streets”, a series of free outdoor concerts featuring a different musical genre each evening.
