The Town of Garner will be celebrating the 4th in a big way! Join them on Wednesday, July 3rd for an exciting evening of music and celebration at Lake Benson Park. The Garner Independence Day Celebration will feature a special performance by The Central Park Band, a Kids’ Adventure Zone, the National Anthem sung by Miss North Carolina 2012 followed by the NC Symphony, and topped off with one of the best fireworks shows in the area. The celebration will also have a wide range of concessions run by different community organizations as well as a can recycling drive called “Cans For A Cure” which is run by Vandora Springs Elementary and benefits several organizations including The American Cancer Society. Join the Town of Garner for a family-friendly night in honor of Independence Day! The gates open at 5 PM and the fireworks show will begin at 9:30. Click here for event details, maps, and directions.
