Home Prices Up Again

Home prices in the U.S. jumped again in July; there was a 12.4% gain from the previous year. According to CoreLogic, prices were up in every state but Delaware on an annual basis in July. Ninety-nine of the 100 largest metro areas in the country reported annual price gains. Additionally, CoreLogic is reporting that prices rose 1.8% from June, which represents the 17th straight month of increases. Steady job gains, historically low mortgage rates, and limited inventory has driven buyers to the market, and pushed home prices higher.
