First of all, if you’ve never checked out the Midtown Farmers’ Market at The Commons at North Hills on Saturday mornings, you are missing out! Each Saturday from April to November, dozens of local produce and craft vendors and even food trucks come together and open up shop in the heart of the North Hills shopping center from 8 AM-noon. This Saturday, September 27th, the Market will be featuring four North Hills restaurants competing in the Iron Chef Challenge. The challenge will run from 9 AM-11:30 AM and the chefs will be given secret ingredients at 9 AM, then given 20 minutes to shop the Market for their additional supplies! Each chef will prepare 2 signature courses and will be judged for Best Overall (dubbed Iron Chef at Market) and Best Presentation from 10:30-11 AM.
