The 3rd annual Hopscotch Music Festival will be descending on downtown Raleigh this weekend (September 6-8) bringing 175 bands to 15 different venues throughout the downtown area. Hopscotch is a wide-reaching music festival featuring a mix of local, national, and international talent and offering music of almost any genre from bluegrass to hip hop, from punk to folk and more; something for any musical taste. About 35 % of this year’s talent hails from the Triangle area. In addition to the music, Hopscotch also offers day parties at many of downtown Raleigh’s popular dining and music venues, a cultural discussion series sponsored by Ed McKay’s Used Books & More, charity activities and more. Head downtown this weekend to see Raleigh come alive with music and culture!
